Introducing Legatus 1.0

Legatus is an AI agent for account-based sales and marketing.

It helps high-ticket B2B teams work their account list by building 1:1 account playbooks for all your accounts. You train it on your business and your go-to-market, and it works next to you as a researcher and creative that knows each account at depth.

The problem it solves

You have a list of companies that would be great-fit customers. To win their attention and stand out in a crowded inbox and a noisy feed, you have to make it about them, not you. Figure out what their challenges are and how they connect to the product you sell. Doing that across 500 accounts takes both skill and time you struggle to find today.

That is what Legatus does. It builds an account playbook for each account you want to win. It tells you if the timing is right, who to approach and what to say.

How AI changes account-based sales and marketing

AI unlocked something new: you can now research any account and turn it into a play in minutes, not hours. But raw AI hands you the capability, not the finished account. On its own it drifts, strong one run and thin the next, a different shape each time, confident even when it's wrong. It’s not stabil to build your revenue system on.

Legatus makes it real. Trained on your go-to-market once, so every account gets the same lens whoever runs it. Sub-agents each do a defined job and check their work against live sources, so the research goes deep and the facts hold. It shows its work, what it pulled straight from a source, what it inferred between the lines, and where you should look twice, so you know what to trust before you act. The output comes back in the same shape every time, ready to work from, and cost-effective enough to run across your whole list.

None of that is the model. It's everything built around it. The difference between pointing AI at an account and handing a rep a playbook they can trust.

How Legatus works

It takes its name from the Legatus of the Roman Republic, whose job was to go into the territory, gather intelligence and report back to the commander with a plan of attack. That is what you want AI doing for your account-based go-to-market motion.

When you get access to Legatus, you start by training it on your GTM context. Your messaging, the problems you solve, your ideal customer profile, your case studies and more. It learns what to look for and understands the shape of your business and your best-fit customers.

Then you upload a named account list and let it work.

The three-layer agentic account work

Layer one: Research agents. When you point Legatus at an account, sub-agents deploy to gather facts. A firmographic agent maps company size, industry, revenue band and location. A people agent identifies the buying committee, budget holders and org structure using your ICP. An account story agent reads press releases, news and outside sources to understand what is actually happening at the company, then matches that against the internal story. These agents deliver a validated, structured research report.

Layer two: Strategy agent. The strategy agent takes that research plus all your company context and builds the actual selling strategy. Which problem to lead with. Why us. Why now. Who to reach first. What the opening message should say. This becomes your playbook for the account.

Layer three: Content agent. Once the strategy is locked, the content agent drafts what your rep actually uses. Right now that is outreach messages. Landing pages and pitch decks follow into the product soon.

Enterprise-level account work at mid-market economics

Most deep account playbook work happens on enterprise deals, where the deal size and the complexity of the buyer make the work worth doing. With AI, that same deep work reaches mid-market, because the price of AI changed the economics.

Instead of spending about €450 to build a real account playbook, Legatus does it for you and keeps it fresh through the year for €15 and about 30 minutes of your time to review and edit before you start working the account.

So you not only get the cost down, you also work more accounts per rep. High-ticket B2B companies with named accounts they want to win get a new way to work the list, faster and with more quality.

What it takes off your team

  • Matching each account against your ICP so you see good fit from bad before you work it

  • Reading past the facts to the account story, what the business is going through right now and why it matters

  • Mapping the buying committee and finding the real budget holder

  • Deciding, from scratch, which of your problems fits the account right now

  • Writing the first message on a blank page

  • Keeping the work consistent when five reps work five accounts

What you get back

Every account comes out as files you can open, edit and build on:

  • Research report. The validated facts.

  • Account playbook. The strategy and the first move.

  • Content drafts. Outreach messages today, with landing pages and decks coming.

Nothing locked in a black box. You can read it, pressure-test it and decide for yourself whether it is the depth you have been trying to reach.
